Charlene Lester is our Organist. She plays both the piano and the organ. We at Peters Creek have been blessed by her willingness to play for us for 17 years.
Charlene is married to Dickie Lester. They have one daughter and three grandsons. Her daughter and grandsons also share Charlene’s love of music and love for the Lord.
Charlene has attended Peters Creek Church of the Brethren for 50 years. She and her husband, Dickie, are very active in the church. Charlene serves as a deacon and has been active on the church board. Charlene, Missy Carter and Kathy Williams have a singing group, 3 for Glory. They have made their first CD recently doing covers of popular contemporary songs.
Charlene’s favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:6-7 “ Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
